I respectfully seek your support to continue my work on the KPPCSD Board.

I stepped forward to join the Board following a vacancy in 2021 to continue the progress the KPPCSD has made and address the many challenges that lie ahead. Those challenges include finding a permanent home for the police and a permanent General Manager.

I’ve served on the Finance Committee, am on the Community Emergency Response Team for my neighborhood, and volunteered for Kensington’s recent emergency evacuation drill.

Over the past year as a Board Member, I have worked to find possible locations to site the police and administration and advocated for additional resources for the park. I worked with our General Manager on repairs to stairs in the park and with the Kensington Improvement Club to renovate the newly named Elsie Neilson Park.

I support the growing community interest in consolidating the KPPCSD and the KFPD. I am open-minded and ready, willing, and able to find solutions that meet both the District and the community needs.

My wife and I chose to live in Kensington 25 years ago after looking at many communities in the Bay Area. Our two daughters grew up in Kensington, attended Kensington Hilltop Elementary and took many KASEP classes. I enjoyed volunteering at the school, especially with the Dad’s Club.

Now that I am semiretired from film work and financial advising, I am enjoying the opportunity to serve our wonderful community on the KPPCSD Board.
